HEAL THE WORLD SHORT FOR SUSTAINABILITY

Michael Jackson King of Pop was one of the few artists concerned about this world, then I give you two songs that show his concern for saving our world.
Rest in Peace, Michael Jackson.

HEAL THE WORLD IN SPANISH
Heal the World

there a place in your heart

and I know is love,

and this place can be much brighter tomorrow.

And if you really try

find no

need to mourn here feel no pain nor sorrow.

There are ways to get there

if you care enough for life

make a small space

make a better place ... Heal the world

do

a better place for you and me and the entire human race.

There are people dying if you care enough for life

make a better place for you and me.

If

want to know why there is a love that can not lie

love is strong

only matter that is given cheerfully.

If we must see

this happiness can not feel fear or dread

cease to exist and begin to live. Then

always feel love is sufficient for our growth

so let

a better world make a better world ... Heal the world

do

a better place for you and me and all mankind.

There are people dying if you care enough

life make a better world for you and me.

And the dream we are designing will reveal

a happy face and the world in which we thought

shine again.

So why keep this suffocating life

that struck this planet

crucified his soul but this is easy to see

this celestial world there by the brightness of God. We

fly so high without letting our minds ever

die in my heart I feel that you are all my brothers.

Create a world where there are no fears together

weep happy tears see the nations turn their swords into plowshares.

we really get there

if you care enough

make life a little

space to make a better place ... Heal the world

make it a better place

for you and me and all mankind

there are people dying if you care enough

make life a better place for you and me. Heal the world

make it a better place

for you and me and all mankind.

There are people dying if you care enough

make life a better place for you and me.

Heal the world make it a better place

for you and for me and for humanity.

There are people dying if you care enough about

life make it a better place for you and me.

There are people dying if you care enough

make life a better place for you and me.

There are people dying if you care enough

make life a better place for you and me

for you and me

for you and me

for you and for you my

and my

for you and me

for you and me

for you and me

for you and me

for you and me

for you and me

World Environment Day 2009

Mexico, is the international headquarters of the World Day celebrations Environment in 2009, held on 5 June.

The theme chosen by the Program of United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), who coordinates the celebration, on behalf of the United Nations system and the peoples of the world, is: "Your Planet Need - United against climate change. "

In Oaxaca, we develop a series of activities related to the topic, with the headquarters to Huatulco, Tamazulapan, Xoxocotlán, Oaxaca de Juarez, among others.

Our Pious represents about 1.5 percent of emissions of greenhouse gases worldwide, is demonstrating its commitment to climate change on several fronts, was hailed by NGOs in the recent climate convention in Accra, Ghana, to be among the group of countries willing to build bridges between north and south.

UNEP looks forward to the forthcoming publication of the Special Programme on Climate Change covering 2008-2012.

is likely to set ambitious goals for the Mexican economy to promote a climate friendly infrastructure "strong" through energy efficiency and increased energy renewables to boosting the carbon management of "soft" infrastructure in Mexico, including its forests and soils.

UNEP gave new information highlighting how Mexico has used the opportunities presented by carbon markets promoted by the UN.

The center's researchers estimate that Mexico's CDM project validation, registration or registered stages, have accumulated 187 projects until September 2008. Only 4 in 2004, and referring to Latin America, Mexico is now second after Brazil with 303 projects. Followed by Chile with 56, Colombia with 32 and Argentina with 30.

Part of the CDM projects are currently Mexican agriculture and involving the burning of methane produced by animal waste.

55 percent of CDM projects fall under this category. Nearly 30 percent of the projects are renewables which includes wind, solar, biomass and biogas.

Biogas represents 70 per cent renewable energy CDM of Mexico, where methane from wastes is harvested to generate electricity instead of burning.

The Centre UNEP / Risø estimated that by 2012 there could be a total of 1600 CDM projects in Latin America and the Caribbean in the pipeline or registered-a more than doubled. It is estimated that 260 million BER could also generate $ 3.9 million, with a value per CER of $ 15 per ton of C02.

UNEP has announced that it is helping the United Nations Program for Development and Mexico - with funding from the Global Environment - in a sector project to promote solar water heaters in Mexico.

The program will collaborate with the Program National Solar Water Heaters in Mexico (known as PROCALSOL) to develop a supportive regulatory environment and to help build market demand and the supply chain of solar water heaters (SWHS).

The goal is to reach total capacity of 2,500,000 cubic meters of installed SWH systems in Mexico in late 2011.También aims to support the continued sustainable growth of the market beyond the existence of the project In order to achieve the goal of 23.5 million cubic meters of installed capacity by 2020.

has been estimated that corresponds to an estimated cumulative reduction potential of greenhouse gases over 27 million tonnes of CO2 by 2020.

China, the world leader in solar water heaters, has installed a solar water heater with a capacity of approximately 100 million cubic meters and 600,000 jobs have been created green.

Thus, by 2020, Mexico has the potential to generate jobs for about 150.00 people in this sector as a result of the new project.

The World Environment Day was established by the General Assembly United Nations in 1972 to mark the opening of the Stockholm Conference on the Human Environment.

is commemorated on 5 June each year, being the vehicle through which the United Nations stimulates awareness of the global environment, and promote the political attention and action.

The main international celebrations in 2006 were held in Algeria.

This year the theme was "Deserts and Desertification" and the motto Do not Desert Drylands!, Emphasizing the importance of protecting drylands, which cover more than 40% of the planet's surface.

instead
The 2007 activities were held in Tromsø (Norway) and the theme chosen was "Melting Ice A Hot Topic" In 2008 the venue will be New Zealand, the theme is Kick the Habit ! Towards a low carbon economy.

As part of this event, the Environmental Celebrations Committee consists of: SEMARNAT, CONAFOR, CONANP, CNA, PROFEPA), organizes the following activities:
